Well you didn’t ask, but you might as well know I used to be in a band. I played guitar in a band here in the D.C. area called Cartel. (Later we changed our name to Cedars because of trademark issues.) Our demo, which was recorded by Jason Caddell of the legendary Dismemberment Plan. We opened for some pretty cool bands such as Stellstarr*, Giant Drag, Sea Ray and Trash Can Sinatras. Suffice to say, I prefer marriage and fatherhood to spending every other weekend with four sweaty dudes in a van headed to New York, but it was fun while it lasted.
